Overview

unraw is a desktop application for macOS operated by Unraw Labs, MB. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

Data We Collect

unraw processes your photos locally on your computer. Your photos are never uploaded to our servers.

• Launch list information — Email address submitted on the website to receive launch updates, plus basic request data such as IP address, approximate location derived from IP address, browser user agent, source, and page for abuse prevention, analytics, and diagnostics.
• Account information — Email address used to start trials, validate licenses, and manage subscriptions.
• License data — Machine identifier and license status used to enforce trial and subscription limits.
• Payment data — Processed securely by Paddle, our merchant of record. We do not store credit card numbers.
• Usage analytics — We may collect anonymous usage statistics to improve the app. No personal data or photo content is included.
• Website analytics — We use Microsoft Clarity on unraw.app to understand how visitors use the site (pages viewed, clicks, scrolls, and session replays) so we can improve it. Clarity may use cookies and collect device and usage information. Text you type into forms, such as your email address, is masked in session recordings. This data is processed by Microsoft under the Microsoft Privacy Statement.

If you join the launch list, we use your email to send launch-related updates. You can ask us to remove you from the launch list at any time.

Data We Do Not Collect

• Your photos or RAW files
• File names or folder structures
• Photo metadata (EXIF, GPS, etc.)
• Browsing history or keystrokes

Third-Party Services

We use Paddle as our merchant of record for checkout, payment processing, invoicing, and subscription management. Paddle’s privacy policy governs payment-related data.

We use Microsoft Clarity for website analytics and session replay on unraw.app, as described above.

Data Retention

Launch list emails are kept until launch-related communications are completed, until you ask us to delete them, or until they are no longer needed. License, billing, security, and accounting records may be kept as required for legal, tax, fraud prevention, and dispute-resolution purposes.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, or object to the processing of your personal data by contacting us at support@unraw.app. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time.

If you are in the European Economic Area and believe your data protection rights have been violated, you may contact your local data protection authority. In Lithuania, this is the State Data Protection Inspectorate (VDAI).

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
