Who We Are
unraw is operated by Unraw Labs, MB, company code 308045872, Draugystės g. 19D, Kaunas, 51231, Lithuania. Questions and privacy requests can be sent to support@unraw.app.
Your Photos Stay Local
unraw processes photos on your computer. Your photos, RAW files, file names, folder structure, and photo metadata are not uploaded to our servers.
Data We Collect
- Account and trial data — The email address used to verify a trial, activate a license, or manage a subscription.
- Device and license data — A license key and status, device identifier and name, operating system and app version, display details, activation status, and related timestamps. We also use the request IP address for security, fraud prevention, and trial or device-limit enforcement.
- Purchase and subscription data — Paddle customer, transaction, subscription, product, and price identifiers; subscription status and billing period; currency, tax, discount, and transaction totals. Paddle processes the payment and card details. We never receive or store your full card number.
- Website analytics — Cookieless first-party events such as pages and sections viewed, scroll-depth milestones, broad interaction method, launch and FAQ interactions, referral source, campaign parameters, broad device and browser type, and approximate location. We do not collect pointer coordinates, specific keys pressed, or unsubmitted form text.
- Messages — Information you include when you contact support or make a privacy request.
- Launch list data — If you joined the launch list, we stored your email address and basic request data so we could send launch-related updates, prevent abuse, and understand the source of signups.
How We Use Data
We use this data to provide trials, licenses, downloads, subscriptions, support, and security; prevent fraud and repeated trial abuse; understand whether the website works; meet legal and accounting obligations; and resolve billing or product disputes.
Where applicable, we process data to perform our contract with you, comply with law, pursue legitimate interests in operating and protecting unraw, or act on your consent. We do not sell personal data or use it for third-party advertising.
Website Storage and Analytics
We do not use advertising or third-party analytics cookies. A random website session identifier is stored in your browser’s session storage and expires with the browser session. Website analytics are disabled when your browser sends a Do Not Track signal.
Your IP address may be used transiently to derive an approximate country. It is not stored in our website analytics session or event records.
Service Providers
Paddle is the merchant of record for checkout, payments, tax, invoices, refunds, and subscription billing. Payment-related processing is also governed by the Paddle Privacy Notice.
We use service providers to host the website and licensing service, deliver transactional emails, and derive an approximate country from an IP address. They receive only the personal data needed to provide those services.
Some providers may process personal data outside the European Economic Area. Depending on the destination, these transfers rely on an EU adequacy decision or safeguards recognised under European data protection law. Details are available on request.
Data Retention
- First-party website analytics are retained for up to 13 months.
- Raw data from successfully processed Paddle notifications is redacted after 90 days. Pending or failed notifications are retained until processing is complete.
- Trial, license, device, account, and subscription records are kept while needed to provide the service, enforce limits, prevent abuse, and handle support or disputes.
- Completed transaction records may be retained in pseudonymized form for accounting, legal, fraud-prevention, and business-continuity purposes. Paddle retains its own transaction records as merchant of record.
- Launch list data is kept until launch-related communications are complete, you ask us to delete it, or it is no longer needed.
Encrypted backups may contain data that has since been deleted from the live service. That data remains protected and is removed as the relevant backups are retired. Backups are used only for disaster recovery.
Security
We limit the data we collect, encrypt independent database backups, and avoid writing raw email addresses, license keys, customer IP addresses, or payment payloads to application logs. No storage or transmission system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, or object to the processing of your personal data by contacting support@unraw.app. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time. We may retain limited records where required by law or necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
If you are in the European Economic Area and believe your data protection rights have been violated, you may contact your local data protection authority. In Lithuania, this is the State Data Protection Inspectorate (VDAI).
Changes
We may update this policy as unraw evolves. Material changes will be posted here with a new revision date and communicated where required by law.
